Every month, The Food Journal plays host to a gastronomic experience at different restaurants. This time round, FJ Social Hour took place at the new Japanese gastrobar Kuro Izakaya, where it was a night of cold brews, great food and even better company.
Unlike the typical cramped, smoky izakayas, Kuro is a spacious, modern gastrobar with japanese accents at every corner. The kitchen is separated from the sitting area, so you won’t leave the place smelling of barbecue. Head outside to the al fresco area for a drink amid the towering skyscrapers of the Marina Centre district. The restaurant offers over 70 dishes as well as a wide selection of alcohol.
