Steve Allen joined Pollen only last year as its executive chef, but he’s definitely no stranger to Asia – he was previously the CEO at the Delicious Group in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Little wonder then that he’s settled into his new role easily, along with the adoption of local slang. He’s also brought with him his repertoire of fresh, simple French-Mediterranean dishes, which now feature on Pollen’s new menu.
Being surrounded by food everyday means the need to put in extra effort to stay healthy; Allen does so by kicking off everyday with a jog around his neighbourhood.
