Wanton Pizza from Pizalo

Starker Q

A unique offering at Starker Q, the Wanton Pizza from Pizalo ($6.80) manages to combine various textures into one satisfying bite. The bits of wanton skin, which is sprinkled generously on the top of the pizza, provides for a delightful crisp. Altogether, a definite highlight on the menu.

Seafood Pageon from Mukja

Starker Q

You can really taste the freshness of the seafood ingredients used in the Seafood Pageon ($6.80) from Mukja. This Korean pancake is cooked to a perfect golden crisp, and has to be paired with the sweet and slightly tangy sauce which accompanies it, which brings the dish to a whole other level.

Bacon and Mushroom Cream Bao and Braised Pork Belly Bao from My Bao

Starker Q

More akin to a mini burger than a bao in terms of texture, the Bacon and Mushroom Cream Bao and Braised Pork Belly Bao ($1.40 each) both pack a punch. Despite its small size, it is undeniably full of well-seasoned ingredients, leaving you wanting more.

Clams In a Pot (Garlic Butter Cream) from Legend Seafood

Starker Q

A clear standout at Starker Q, the Clams In a Pot with Garlic Butter Cream ($14.80) will surely see you reaching for seconds (or thirds). The garlic butter cream is smooth and rich, and makes for an extremely pleasant burst of flavours, with the taste of garlic offering a much-appreciated anchor to the dish.

Fiery Wings from Allegra

Starker Q

If you’re looking for a spicy start to your meal, the Fiery Wings ($5.80) from Allegra would be the way to go. Get your hands dirty and be prepared for an explosion in your mouth (the best kind). This one’s for all you spicy food lovers!
