If lovey-dovey is not your thing, Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar is offering a simple, no frills 3-course set dinner for S$88 for two people, which also includes 2 glasses of house wine. It will be serving classic food such as rosemary lamb and seabass, and a dessert that is bound to go down well for any date – madeleines stuffed with nutella!

If your loved one has a real fondness for seafood, you might want to think about booking at Sque Rotisserie & Alehouse. Its Valentine’s Day Crush-teacean Platter, S$88++ per person, is a mix of Crayfish, Atlantic Clams, Tiger Prawns and Flower Crab in a steamy hot sauce, and served with a cocktail dressing.

Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens
The Halia is running a Valentine’s Day dinner sharing menu on the 14th February.  Curated by Head Chef Ciaran Armstrong, the 8-dish menu includes freshly shucked oysters, smoked chilli crab salad and wagyu beef. For dessert, the Halia will serve a sharing dessert of chocolate and flowers.
The menu is served from 5.30pm – 7.30pm and again for a 2nd seating from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. It is priced at S$300 per couple,inclusive of the 8-dish sharing dinner, single rose and a Halia gift & picture souvenir, with an additional S$140 for wine pairing and S$55 dollars for cocktail pairing. British inspired gastro-pub Oxwell & Co has created a Valentine’s Day dinner for Sunday 14th February from 6pm until 11pm. The menu will be served in its 2nd floor dining room by candle light and will feature a three-course meal and glass of Champagne for $88++ per person.

Couples can choose from a variety of dishes from the menu, which includes Smoked Venus Clams, Welsh Shoulder of Lamb and Lemon Posset with Homemade Shortbread. Plus, you can also supplement the dinner with an appetiser of half a dozen Irish oysters for $30.

If you like to dine gourmet style, then Catalunya has decided upon a cheese and wine pairing platter for Valentine’s Day this year. It will run from 8th -14th February, and is priced at S$75++ per set.

The platter is designed for sharing between two people and features five artisanal Spanish cheeses from the northern, southern, eastern, western, and central areas of Spain. In addition, sommeliers have handpicked three Spanish wines. This exclusive set is available for lunch and dinner.

For tapas lovers, you can book a table with Salt Tapas & Bar on 14th February, serving from 6pm. The 3-course menu is priced at S$58++ per person, rising to S$98++ per person for wine pairing.

Chef Marco has curated a 3-course menu just for the Valentine’s Day weekend, 13th and 14th February. Each menu item is aptly named in a romantic way to add even more love to the air. Included in the line up is lobster, scallops, heart shaped raviolo and US prime short ribs. For dessert, there is chocolate and wild berries.
