Sumptuous Takeaway Options During the Circuit Breaker

With the circuit breaker period extended till the 1st of June, 2020 in Singapore and dining-in banned, popular restaurants are expanding their Delivery and “Tabao” Menus, to retain customers and satisfy their food cravings in the comfort of their homes. Some options include:

Japan Rail Cafe

The cafe offers takeaway and delivery services, featuring an appetizing line-up of five bento sets, that come with a choice of drink, priced at $15 each:

The meals are available from Mondays to Fridays, from 11am to 7pm (last order at 6:30pm), excluding Public Holidays. Customers have the choice of placing orders for takeaway through WhatsApp at +65 9826 3471 or at the cafe itself.  The Cafe also offers free island wide delivery via Guoco Tower Food Delivery* (www.gtfooddelivery.com) for orders above $50 or through GrabFood.

Junior

How about cocktails at home? Junior launches Junior at home, an exquisite offering from the bar menu served chilled at your doorstep!

            

Featuring a selection of bottled cocktails and DIY food kits, the Junior at home menu is updated on a regular basis and also features classic favourites from earlier menus. A selection of bottled cocktails such as Barbegazi’s Beard, Cuckoo Clock and the much-loved, Swiss Miss Kit with Hokkaido Milk, Chocolate, Green Chartreuse, Dark Rum and whipped coconut cream are available to order. All cocktails are pre-mixed, properly diluted and arrive chilled and ready to drink. Servings come in 700ml bottles, which can make five to nine servings of regular size drinks, depending on the cocktail and come with garnishes, ice and premium mixers. Food is DIY and comes ready for you to heat up and assemble such as the all-time favourite DIY Taco Night.

To order, guests can simply drop a message to the Junior team via Instagram, SMS, WhatsApp or call at +65 8121 1462. All orders made before 6 pm will be delivered on the same day. Grab couriers and self-collect can also be arranged until 10 pm each night. Free delivery is available for orders of $130 and above.

The Salted Plum

Take a slice of Taiwan home with gastronomical delights from The Salted Plum in the form of bento boxes and family sets for group dinners to satisfy your Taiwanese Zi Char cravings throughout the Circuit breaker period.

TAIWANESE STYLE ZI CHAR

The Salted Plum has expanded its delivery menu to include more items from its restaurant menu to customers for their Bentos, A la carte bites and new family set packages of Taiwanese home-style food. Island wide delivery is available daily across the week from 11.00AM to 8.30PM. Starting from $9.90, the Bento Set menu now features Regular, Premium and Ultimate Bentos for complete, all-in-one meals. Options include the Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0, Fried Chicken 2.1 , and the sous vide Wagyu. The Premium Family Set ($98.00) comes with the addition of Crab Omelette, Mermaid Fish, Taiwanese Sausage Patties, Wagyu Beef and Braised Cabbage.

For all deliveries, there is a minimum order requirement of $30.00 with a flat delivery fee of $10.00. Delivery charges are waived for orders above $60.00. Place orders via http://order.saltedplum.co/. The Salted Plum is also available on food delivery platforms, Foodpanda and Deliveroo.
